Description

Like it or not, virtual learning is here to stay! While most of us are giving a sigh of relief that we can go back to normal in Fall 2021 with ‘business as usual’, all the signs seem to point that higher education business model has fundamentally shifted. New technologies, new platforms and new processes have emerged. Virtual learning will form a significant part of our portfolio in the coming decade.

Key takeaways:

  • What are some simple steps in design and delivery stages that can substantially enhance engagement, energy, and experience in virtual learning?
  • What do we know from neuroscience about “Concert Hall Effect” and how can we apply that to our virtual learning?
  • What can we learn from Psychology research on “Bystander Effect” and how can we apply it in virtual learning to enhance engagement?

What are some modifications we should consider in our assessment if we want to create an exceptional experience for our students?
