As the Commercial Advisor in the U.S. International Trade Administration’s Commercial Services team\, he works with U.S. businesses to help them enter and navigate the Indian market. Mr. Sarkar joined the U.S. Commerical Service in 2008 and is responsible for the development of U.S. trade and business in Eastern India and adjoining Bangladesh. Mr. Sarkar has over seventeen years of diverse professional experience in the field of marketing\, business development\, and operations. he is part of several important commercial initiatives to support the emerging economic partnership between the U.S. and India\, and is the team lead in India for the mining and industrial materials sectors.
