Chang-Tai Hsiehis the Winkleread Professor of Economics and Chicago Booth, an NBER Research Associate,a Senior Fellow at the Bureau for Research in Economic Analysis of Development,an Elected Member of Academia Sinica, and the recipient of the Sun Ye-Fang award for research on the Chinese economy. His work bridges macroeconomics and applied economics with a focus on economic development and growth in Latin America and Asia.
