Join the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Lansing Promise at the April Economic Club as we celebrate the powerful intersection of business, students, education and community in Greater Lansing. Our special guest is the NBA legend, businessperson, and Lansing’s own Earvin “Magic” Johnson.

Magic will host a panel of Lansing Promise scholars for a Conversation with Magic. This Q&A will include questions both to and from scholars with Magic and will cover a range of topics, including growing up in Lansing, entrepreneurship, employment and how we all have a role in investing in the success of our youth.

We’ll also hear about the State of the Promise and learn how the place-based scholarship organization is leveraging partnerships with Lansing’s business community, the Lansing School District, Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, the City of Lansing and post-secondary institutions to strengthen the capital city’s talent development continuum.
