Description

Speaker Michigan Business & Agriculture Panel

The event will feature a panel of Michigan entrepreneurs, farmers, small business owners, and manufacturers who would welcome the elimination of tariffs as they strive to navigate and survive the complexities of the market. We've scheduled speakers from: National Association of Wheat Growers, Cherry Central Cooperative, Mabuchi Motor America Corp., Amway, MSU, FosterSwift. The Michigan-focused roundtable is hosted with Tariffs Hurt the Heartland, a bipartisan, nationwide, grassroots effort supported by over 160 of the country’s largest trade organizations, representing thousands of businesses as well as agriculture producers, manufacturers, workers and consumers across the USA. Further information about the group is available at www.tariffshurt.com.

The Global Business Club of Mid-Michigan focuses on global issues of interest to the mid-Michigan business community. The monthly GB Club luncheons provide outstanding speakers and relaxed networking opportunities. With extensive international experience, the speakers wrap personal insights around a practical and up-to-the-minute approach to conducting international trade.
