The program features a three-year sequence of activities designed to internationalize business education on the campuses of the nation's HBCUs. Two classes of about ten HBCU institutions will participate in the program.
The ten day faculty study abroad program offered in conjunction with the University of Antwerpen is designed primarily for faculty from business, foreign language, and area/cultural studies. Participants are exposed to the latest developments in European business/economic issues to develop an increased understanding of today's European Union (EU).
Isabelle Maignan presents a research seminar titled "Corporate Social Responsibility and Marketing: An Integrative Framework." Attendance is free of charge for all MSU Students, Faculty, and Staff. Isabelle Maignan is Associate Professor of Marketing at Nijmegen School of Management.

This workshop focuses on overcoming the challenge of implementing and strengthening foreign language programs, as well as the challenges associated with motivating students in the classroom.

9/11 and implications for CIBERs. How can CIBERs work with area studies centers and other groups to address issues of national security and economic security.
The first three IDEB workshops, held at Columbia University in 1999, The Ohio State University in 2000, and The University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001 demonstrated the growing interest among Ph.D. students in international research - with approximately 90 participants from 35 - plus schools across the country who engaged in discussions and seminars with leading experts in international business. The 2002 IDEB conference will be held at The Ohio State University.

The Ohio State University will present a research seminar on "Sequential Divestiture Through Initial Public Offerings," 1:30 - 3:00 PM, Friday October 11, 2002 in 336 North Business College Complex. Attendance is free of charge for all MSU Students, Faculty, and Staff.
