Jamie Vollmeris a former attorney and business executive turned public school advocate. He previously served as president of the Great Midwestern Ice Cream Company and participated in the Iowa Business and Education Roundtable for five years before switching careers. He wrote the book, Schools Cannot Do It Alone and now speaks nationally encouraging educators, business leaders and community groups to work together to build successful schools. Using his personal transformation as evidence, he shares why there is no greater return on investment of our tax dollars than public schools.
