This overseas FDIB program is designed for Michigan community colleges. Site visits include numerous educational institutions, U.S. Department of Commerce and Chamber of Commerce briefings, visits to businesses and culturally significant sites in Singapore and Jakarta, Indonesia.

Prof. Awokuse of the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics is our luncheon keynote speaker, he will address where to look for the best opportunities for Michigan agricultural exports. $35 registration fee includes lunch. The Global Business Club of Mid-Michigan focuses on global issues of interest to the mid-Michigan business community. The monthly GB Club luncheons provide outstanding speakers and relaxed networking opportunities. The 4th Annual MSU Interdisciplinary Conference on Cybercrime will be held March 2nd and 3rd, 2017 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center on the Michigan State University Campus in East Lansing (https://kelloggcenter.com/). This flagship event, sponsored in part by the MSU School of Criminal Justice, seeks to draw world class social and technical science researchers together and present their work in order to promote collaboration between the disciplines and identify new avenues of research to enrich both fields. In addition, the conference links both fields to industry and policy-makers to transform the landscape of cybersecurity, policy, and practice.
