Mr. Pezza's presentation will highlight the undergoing strategic initiatives aimed at successfully positioning Michigan in the global economy. Key issues will include redefining Michigan's global image, increasing research and development efforts by organizations in Michigan, attracting new industry sectors to Michigan, regional collaborations involving Michigan organizations, and incentive targeting for organizations to join the Michigan business environment.

Jonathan Elendu's presentation will focus current events and business climate in Nigeria. He will highlight excerpt from his newest book The Amazon Takes a Bow.

He will touch on reasons why SSAB selected Michigan as its location, along the way discussing the initial groundbreaking to the finished plant to quadrupling in size in the last five years.

As American manufacturing emerges from a long, difficult recession, leaders are recognizing important new realities. The recession suggested structural change, reflecting a mix of global and domestic challenges. Mr. MacIlroy will share insights into policy agenda for MMA and talk about where it's heading from both a "structural reality" and policy basis.

Dr. Jang currently serves as a member of the board of directors and executive committee of Global Corporate Governance Academic Network, which is supported by the Global Corporate Governance Forum of the World Bank. In this presentation, he will speak on the impacts the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis had on Corporate Governance.
