Esteemed speakers will present on topics of concern to the future of Sino-American economic and business relations. Delivering the keynote speech will be the Chinese Consul General in Chicago, Mr. Huang Ping. The event will begin at one o'clock on Saturday, January 23rd at the MSU Union Ballroom on the North side of the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing, MI. Admission is free.

Bjorn Stigson is President of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. He serves on the boards of or on committees advising the Chinese government, the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes, the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, the Clinton Global Initiative and the Global Reporting Initiative. He is a graduate of the Gothenburg School of Business Administration, the Swedish Management Institute and Harvard Business School.

On Saturday, April 17, 2010, MSU will again invite hundreds of high school students, teachers, administrators, and parents to campus to explore a world of languages during the Sixth Annual World Languages Day. Free to all participants, this day-long conference will focus on the experiences that languages offer, and highlight the opportunities available for language and international study at MSU.
