Speaker: Canadian Consul General Roy NortonConsul General Norton will highlight the many aspects of the Canada-Michigan relationship, including trade, environmental stewardship, and partners in global security. He will discuss the benefits of the New International Trade Crossing for Michigan's businesses and the importance of modern border infrastructure to meet the needs of the state's new economy. The Global Business Club of Mid-Michigan focuses on global issues of interest to the mid-Michigan business community. The monthly GB Club luncheons provide outstanding speakers and relaxed networking opportunities. With extensive international experience, the speakers wrap personal insights around a practical and up-to-the-minute approach to conducting international trade.

World Languages Day

World Languages Day allows hundreds of high school students, teachers, administrators, and parents to come to campus to explore a world of languages. Free to all participants, this day-long conference will focus on the experiences that languages offer, and highlight the opportunities available for language and international study at MSU.

After an engaging opening plenary session, participants will attend a variety of fun and informational sessions throughout the day.
