In the spirit of Michigan State University's "world-grant" initiative, MSU's International Business Center in the Eli Broad College of Business is implementing Pro Bono Services for businesses in the Greater Lansing Region (Michigan, USA) which are striving to engage in the global marketplace. The Michigan Export Growth Program was started with a seed grant from the Ford College Community Challenge, which funds projects that meet community leads, create student leaders while building sustainable communities and fostering community partnerships.

On Saturday, April 17, 2010, MSU will again invite hundreds of high school students, teachers, administrators, and parents to campus to explore a world of languages during the Sixth Annual World Languages Day. Free to all participants, this day-long conference will focus on the experiences that languages offer, and highlight the opportunities available for language and international study at MSU.

Evan Elenbaas, President, and Troy Schmaker, CFO, of Walters Gardens will speak on the topic of "Exporting Successes: Tools, Lessons, and Advice from the Ag Exporter of the Year.
